ALLISON MELVA MOORE

Allison Melva Moore, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on December 30, 2023, at the age of 64 in Grapeland, Texas. Born on June 7, 1959, in Houston, Texas, Allison was the daughter of the late Lloyd Cole and Ann Wilcox.

Allison had a zest for life and an unwavering faith in God. She found solace and joy in her hobbies, which included painting, crafting, drawing, and genealogy. Allison was a devoted member of her church and found great fulfillment in worship and serving others. She had a keen eye for treasures and enjoyed the thrill of thrifting and discovering hidden gems. Allison also had a passion for old movies and loved the nostalgia they brought. She was an adventurous cook, always eager to try new recipes and create delicious meals for her loved ones.

Allison will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Floyd Moore, her sons Alex McVey, Michael Stevick, and Chance Moore, and her cherished grandchildren, Avery and Julian McVey. She was a source of love, support, and wisdom to her family and her memory will forever live on in their hearts.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate Allison's life was held on January 3rd, 2023, at Guiceland Cemetery. In this time of grief, may we find solace in the memories we shared with Allison and may her spirit guide and inspire us.
