GLENN ALLEN SMITH
Funeral services for Glenn Allen Smith, 59, of Bronson, Texas were held Saturday, January 6, 2024 in Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Stephen McBride and Ginny Mote officiating.
Burial followed services in Bronson Cemetery with Mike Ebarb, Josh Smith, Carl Wells, Patrick Kittman, Cade Kittman and Cameron Kittman serving as pallbearers. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Ralph McBride, Jr.
She passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at CHI St. Luke's Hospice in the Pines in Lufkin, Texas.
Glenn was born May 25, 1964 in San Augustine, Texas to Elton Covy Smith and Atrelle Bryant Smith. He had spent most of his life in Bronson, Texas and was a graduate of West Sabine High School Class of 1982. He was a 10 year resident of Houston where he worked in publishing as a Printer Tech for RR Donnelley Commercial Print.
Glenn loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also loved fishing and hunting, shopping online and playing solitaire.
He was preceded in death by his parents, E.C. and Atrelle Smith; brother, Elton Smith; and brother-in-law, Wally Kittman.
Glenn is survived by his son, Logan Shane Smith and wife, Emilee, of Natchitoches, LA; brothers, Joe Smith and wife, Sally, of Lufkin, Curtis Smith and fiance, Cara Warner, of Lufkin, and Clint Smith and wife, Sandra, of Bronson; sister, Martha Kittman of Hemphill; grandchild, Brynlee Smith and step grandchild, Hayden Clark; nephews, Josh Smith, Patrick Kittman and Matthew Smith; nieces, Tayler Smith and Tyler Browning; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Glenn's family would like to thank Hospice in the Pines for the loving care given to him. It was deeply appreciated, also to Legacies Nursing and Rehab and A Pineywood Home Health for their care. A special thank you goes out to the guys with My Trash and to his mail carrier, Joanna Moody. He looked forward to your visits and for your caring. It will never be forgotten.
