BILLY DON HIGGINBOTHAM

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Don Higginbotham, age 69, of Broaddus, were held Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Dennis Land and Bro. Jon Collins officiating. Committal services followed in Liberty Hill Cemetery. He passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024, at his residence.

He was born October 3, 1954, in Shelby County, Texas, to parents Don Hampton and Johnnie Strong Higginbotham and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Billy Don had been the owner of Higginbotham Air Conditioning and Sheet Metal for a number of years.

Billy Don and Deborah Horne were married October 22, 1977.

His survivors include his wife of 46 years, Deborah Higginbotham of Broaddus; mother Johnnie Merl Higginbotham; children, William Jody Higginbotham of Broaddus, Jeffrey Allan Higginbotham of Atascocita, Starla Jean Higginbotham and wife Melissa Dean of Franklinton, North Carolina, Joshua Don Higginbotham and wife Nikki Higginbotham of Broaddus, and Savannah Elizabeth Higginbotham of Dallas; and grandchildren, Alyson, Tatum, Lyla, Jaiden, Ty, Raegan, Zayden, and Brayden; siblings Kathryn & Randall Wise, Nancy & Terry Rice, Randy & Jeanette Higginbotham, Ronald & Susan Higginbotham, Delena & Jerry Whitehead; mother-in-law Carolyn Horne; in-laws Carl Horne Jr & Cheryl, Donna Horne, Lynne & Percy Richardson.
