PATRICIA LEE RITTER

Patricia Lee Ritter, 80, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Monday, February 19, 2024 at Sabine County Hospital after an accident.

Patricia was born November 29, 1943 in Beaumont, Texas to J. N. Gore and Iva Lee Durham Gore. Before becoming a resident of Legacies Nursing and Rehab, she had lived in many places, including Alaska and Oregon, before returning to Texas. Over the years, she had worked in Data Processing where she was a supervisor.

She had many interests; including loving to travel and she had multiple RVs to hit the road in. She was also a fantastic cook and loved to bake. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and quilting, loved going to the beach, hunting, fishing and living near the water.

She was preceded in death by her father, J. N. Gore; mother, Iva Lee Gore; her first husband, Ernest Corrigan, second husband, Gary Motley and third husband, Tatum Ritter; stepson, Mike Motley and son, Greg Corrigan.

Patricia is survived by her son, Jay Corrigan of Perth, Australia; daughters, Wendy Lindberg and husband, Tom, of Anchorage, Alaska and Kari Motley of Gresham, Oregon; brother, Jerry Gore of Silsbee; sister, Elizabeth Jones of Evadale; eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill, Texas
