BOBBY LEWIS LANE

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Lewis Lane, 95, of San Augustine, were held Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Reed Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Timothy Teal officiating and Bishop Zephaniah Swindle serving as eulogist. Interment followed in the St. Luke Cemetery. Mr. Lane was born March 14, 1929 and passed from this life on April 13, 2024.

He is survived by six grandchildren, Clemmietina Miller and husband, Patrick, of San Augustine, Ronald Johnson and wife, Demetria, of Rustin, LA, Carlos Johnson and wife, LaTressa, of San Augustine, Curtis Gilbert of Hurst, Darell Malone of Irving and LaShunta Glover and husband, Zack, of Houston; special great-grandchild, Kiesha Johnson of San Augustine; 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Roy Lane and wife, Barbara, of Beaumont; sisters, Jimmie Nash of San Augustine, Cammie Lane of Houston and Rachel Bluford and husband, William, of San Augustine as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements were under the direction of Percy Garner and Son Mortuary in San Augustine.
