MARCIA LYNN WORRELL

Funeral services for Marcia Lynn Worrell of Yellowpine, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Ebarb officiating. Burial will follow in the Gravel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2024 at Starr Funeral Home. She passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2024, at the age of 60 in Lufkin, Texas. She was born on April 30, 1964, in South Bend, Indiana to Harold Blue and Ruth Elaine Gill Blue.

Marcia was a 28-year resident of Sabine County and had previously resided Bertram, Texas. She was an active member of her community, known for her involvement in fundraisers and her dedication to her children's school activities.

Marcia was a devoted stay-at-home wife and mother who cherished spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter.

Marcia is survived by her husband of 28 years, David Worrell, Sr. of Yellowpine; her son, David Worrell, Jr. of Hemphill; her daughter, Meranda Brooks of Granbury; her sisters, Rebecca Elaine Stump and husband, Chad, and Dana Rose Kuhn, all of Elkhart, Indiana; and her granddaughter, Penelope Rose Brooks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Ruth Blue, and her brothers, J. R Perkins and Anthony Brian Perkins.

Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill, Texas, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
