PERCY EUGENE PARSONS

Percy Eugene Parsons, 76, of Pineland, passed away on May 27, 2024, in Lufkin. He was born on July 12, 1947, in Jasper, Texas, to Percy Parsons and Willie Barnell Hennigan Parsons.

Percy worked many years as a diesel mechanic in the pipeline and trucking industry. He was a member of the Danville Masonic Lodge #101 in Kilgore, Texas, and the DeWitt-Clinton Masonic Lodge #29 in Jasper, Texas. Percy was a four-year resident of Sabine County and had previously lived in Kilgore, Texas.

Percy was a loving husband to his wife of 30+ years, Sandra Parsons, who preceded him in death.

He is survived by his daughters, Stacy Warner and husband, Steven, of Brookeland and Amanda Crustner and husband, Jerry, of Pineland, grandchildren, Kyle Warner, Brodey Warner, Brantley Warner, Tara Page and Hannah Belk; great-grandchildren, Alaynnah Page, Hunter Page, Weston Page and Ivy Belk; brother, James Parsons of Jasper, Texas, and sister, Betty Hayes of Jasper, Georgia.

His Dachshund dogs held a special place in his heart, and his devotion to them was evident to all who knew him.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill.
