MARY NANCY SWEARINGEN

Memorial services for Mary Nancy Swearingen, 77, of Hemphill, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Fairdale Baptist Church, 4820 Fairdale Road, Hemphill, Texas with Bro. J. R. McDonald officiating. She passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 at her residence.

Nancy was born in Maryville, Tennessee on February 13, 1946 to Thomas Haynes and Irene Newberry Haynes. She was a former resident of Beaumont, Texas where she had worked for many years as a pharmacy tech for CVS Pharmacy before moving to Sabine County in 2002. Here she was a member of Fairdale Baptist Church.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Robert Swearingen of Hemphill; sons, Terry Morton and Bryan Morton, both of Maryville, Tennessee; daughters, Tonya or Maryville and Beverly Robertson of Pineland; sister, Charlotte Bossier of Hillister; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home, Hemphill, Texas.
