KATHLEEN GOPFFARTH KIGHT

Funeral services for Kathleen Gopffarth Kight , 83, of Center, were held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Milton Powers officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Chester. She passed away Saturday, March 11, 2023, in Nacogdoches. Born July 10, 1939, Kathleen was born in Bonham to Herman Stephen Kurt Gopffarth and Mattie Arkatie Gopffarth. During her free time, she enjoyed embroidery and sewing. Kathleen also enjoyed reading and gardening. Kathleen was a member of Shelbyville Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Karl Kight and wife Vickie; grandchildren, Heather Mitcham, Dillon Powell; sister-in-law, June Gopffarth, and numerous nieces and a nephew. Arrangements were under the direction of Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center.
