Funeral services for LeRoy Brooks, 84, of Fort Worth will be held on Saturday, April 8th at Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Greer Cemetery with Rev. Herman F. Johnson, officiating. Viewing will be held on Friday, April 7th from 2:00 to 6:30 p.m. at Garner & Son Chapel. Mr. Brooks passed away on March 31st at Community Healthcare of Texas in Burleson, TX. He was a Norwood Community Native.

He is survived by his wife, Tena Brooks of Fort Worth; sons, Milton Polley of Fort Worth; John Brooks of Fort Worth; Elroy Brooks, wife, Joyce of Longview; Jacqoet Jones, wife, Van, of Fort Worth; Leroy Brooks, Jr. of Fort Worth; Darvis Alford of New York, NY; daughters, Lila Anthony, husband, Johnny, of San Augustine; Janie Brooks; Mozell Johnson, husband, Wilfred, of Longview; Claudene Sales, husband, Vincent, of Fort Worth; Lila Marie Smith of Fort Worth; Kimberly Woods of Fort Worth; Yolanda Ish, husband, Morris, of Fort Worth; Monica Brooks of Fort Worth; Veronica Wesley, husband, Harry, of Fort Worth; Sharon Palmer, husband, Daniel, of Fort Worth; and LaShanda Brooks of Fort Worth; 85 grandchildren; 93 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
