SAHS Wolf Pack Football Schedule

The San Augustine Wolf Pack recently released the schedule for the 2023-2024 football season.

Two scrimmages have been scheduled with the first scrimmage set for Saturday, August 12th in Mt. Enterprise. The second scrimmage will be a three way scrimmage set for Saturday, August 19th in Trinity. Times for the scrimmages have not been determined and will be announced at a later date.

The regular football season for the Wolves will kick off at 7:00 p.m. Friday, August 25th against the Hemphill Hornets in Hemphill. The following week, Friday, September 1st, the Wolves will battle it out against the Teneha Tigers at home with kick off at 7:00 p.m.

Homecoming festivities will take place the next Friday, September 8th, with the Wolves facing the Alto Yellow Jackets. Friday, September 15th the Wolves and Wolf Pack fans will travel the two and half hours to Anahuac for the last non-district game of the season against the Panthers.

UIL District games will begin on Friday, September 29th, as the Wolves travel to Timpson to take on the Bears. On Friday, October 6th, the Wolves will travel to Tiger territory in Pineland to take on West Sabine. Friday, October 13th, San Augustine will be on the road again to Joaquin to play against the Rams. Friday, October 20th, it will be a show down between the San Augustine Wolves and Shelbyville Dragons at the Wolf Pack Stadium. The following week, Friday, October 27th, the Pack will travel to the land of maroon and white to play the Garrison Bulldogs. The final district game will be played at home on Friday, November 3rd against the Grapeland Sandies.
