EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION AWARD - San Augustine teacher, Pam Pohly (C), recently received the Excellence in Education Award presented by Buddy Low (left) and Buddy Low’s daughter, Rachel Roane (right), at the recent gala in San Augustine. Mr. Low grew up in Geneva and graduated from SA High School in 1950. He went on to become a successful lawyer and since 2007 he has provided 48 life-changing scholarships to SAHS graduates.
