JAMES "BIMBO'' ARTHUR BRYAN

James "Bimbo'' Arthur Bryan, 70 from Austin, died peacefully at home on June 25, 2023. He was born May 5th, 1953 at the naval hospital on the island of Guam, M.I. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Bryan and Martha ''Bitsy" Williams Bryan, his sister Virginia ''Ginger" Bryan Evans, and his brother Charles Edward Bryan. He graduated from Broaddus High School in 1971. He later moved to Houston and worked in construction, building much of the Houston skyline. He married Julie Pratt of McNabb, Illinois in April of 1980. They had 3 children - Janet Bryan Gomez 42, John Bryan 38 of Pflugerville, and Jinny Bryan 35 of Deer Park. He also leaves behind his sisters Cathy Foss, 66 and Connie Varner, 66 of Missouri, and Ex Wife and best friend Julie Valchar, 61 of Hutto, 3 Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He lived and worked in Austin, and loved spending time with his family. He always put everyone before himself. His absence is greatly felt, and he will be missed. There will be no immediate funeral arrangements, and he will be cremated at his request. The family will have a private memorial.
