LINDA "PUDDIN" WORTHY ROGERS

Funeral services for Linda "Puddin" Worthy Rogers, age 75, of Pineland, were held Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home Chapel. Committal service followed at Lone Star Cemetery. She passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023, at a Longview hospital.

Mrs. Rogers was born July 4, 1947, in Colmesneil, to parents Etta Faye (Pope) and Theo Worthy. She had lived in Pineland most of her life and was a 1965 graduate of West Sabine High School. She had worked as a bookkeeper in accounting and was a member of Pineland's First Baptist Church. Linda had a great passion for her family and enjoyed spending time with grandchildren. She loved cooking, sewing, and quilting as well as taking care of her plants.

Her survivors include her sons, Terry Rogers of Pineland, and Chris Rogers and wife Tammy of Pineland; a daughter, Christina McElhaney and husband Jimmy of San Augustine; sisters, Frankie Crowell and husband Ronny of Pineland, and Wanda Sowell of Jasper; sister-in-law, Sherry Worthy of Pineland; grandchildren, Madison Gipson and husband Koby, Mallory Hanks, Briley Rogers, Raylee Rogers, Kyle Hanks, Hannah McElhaney, Briannah McElhaney, and Olivia McElhaney; a great-granddaughter, Paisleigh Gipson; and a host of nieces and nephews.
