ELMER GENE RICHARDS

Elmer Gene Richards, 54, of Center, passed away Monday, July 31, 2023, in Center.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 4, 2023, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation one hour prior. Bro. Gordon Vaughn will officiate. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Timpson.

Born November 9, 1968, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Elmer is the son of James William Richards and Jerelyn Windham Richards.

He is survived by his brothers, Johnny Richards and wife Paula, Wayne Richards and wife Lucinda, and Matthew Byrd; numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his wife, Joann Richards; and parents, James William Richards and Jerelyn Windham Richards.
