Funeral services for Elsie Bagwell, 82, of San Augustine, Texas are set for 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023, at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel. Committal service and interment will follow at Lower Chireno Cemetery, located off FM 95 South in Chireno, Texas. She passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Summit Health Care in San Augustine, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home, located at 316 W. Columbia Street in San Augustine, Texas.

A longtime area resident, she was born Sept. 14, 1940.

She is survived by her husband, Harold "Zip" Bagwell of San Augustine; son-in-law, Albert Chambers of San Augustine; and grandchildren, Kelley Theriot, Cody Austin Sanders, and Colt Wayne Sanders.
