DENISE HUCKMAN

Funeral services for Denise Huckman, 72, of Hemphill, will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Augustine 26, 2023 at Starr Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Harper Chapel Cemetery. She passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Woodland Height Medical Center in Lufkin.

Denise was born November 11, 1950 in Metairie, Louisiana to Charles Louis Antonini and Mary Frances Young Antonini. She was a longtime resident of Crosby, Texas before moving to Sabine County in 2007. She was a talented horse trainer who specialized in barrel racing and cutting horses. She enjoyed her animals and keeping house.

Denise is survived by her husband of 43 years, Mike Huffman of Hemphill; sisters, Tina Infinger of Highlands, Texas and Charlene Cothran and husband, Randy, of Hemphill; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
