GEORGE N. SHULL, JR.

Graveside services for George N. Shull, Jr., 79, of Shelbyville were held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Strong Cemetery in Huxley with Bro. Billy Windham officiating the service. He passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 in Nacogdoches.

Mr. Shull was born April 11, 1944 in Shelby County, to George Nolan Shull and Lillian Guidry Shull. He worked in the oilfield for several years. As a hobby he enjoyed deer hunting and running his dogs, and was an involved member of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Shull of Shelbyville; children, Brenda Crabtree of Vidor; Kathy Dennis of Shelbyville; James Shull and wife, Tiffany, of San Augustine; five grandchildren; and a great grandson on the way.
