One Humble Man, One Mighty Faith

Bruce Olson, the longest-serving missionary supported by San Augustine Methodist Church Mission Program will be here in San Augustine speaking on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Bruce will be joined by our newest missionary supported by San Augustine Methodist Church, Tom Pretti.

Tom is sharing the Gospel in Jordan but will join Bruce Sunday for the 9:15 a.m. breakfast (Fellowship Hall), 11:00 a.m. Worship Service (Sanctuary) and the 5:00 p.m. dinner and revival service (Fellowship Hall).

Bruce has faithfully served God among the Motilone people in the jungles of Colombia for over 60 years. When God called Bruce at the age of 19, Bruce’s obedience led to a tremendous Gospel journey. The testimonies and stories of those many years will surely be exciting to hear. Many may even fondly remember when Bruce visited San Augustine in the younger years of his ministry.

San Augustine Methodist Church hopes you will join us in welcoming Bruce back to where it all started from and give a warm first time greeting to missionary Tom Pretti and his family. Schedule of events is as follows: Sunday, October 15, 2023 with Bruce Olson and Tom Pretti beginning with a missionary breakfast at 9:15 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, Morning Worship will be held in the Sanctuary at 11:00 a.m., evening dinner will begin at 5:00 p.m.in the Fellowship Hall followed by a revival service.

On Tuesday, October 17th Bruce will have missionary testimonies at 10:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall, and Wednesday, October 18th there will be Children’s Ministry in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 3:30 p.m.
