MARY ALICE KINGSLEY REYNOLDS

Mary Alice Kingsley Reynolds, 86, passed away in Mansfield, TX on October 12, 2023. She was born in San Augustine County, TX to Willie Kingsley and Yvonne Whitton Kingsley. Mary graduated from Pineland High School in 1955 and then went to St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Galveston, TX and graduated in 1958. She had a long career as a nurse for UTMB. She was a member of Eastern Star over 60 years.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas H. Reynolds; son, Capt. Michael Howard; sister, Thelma Means, and brother-in-law Joe Gilder.

She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Brashear; step-children, William Reynolds, Robert Reynolds, Kenneth Reynolds, Kyle Reynolds; Barbara DeSham, and Shannon Dornak; sister, Charlene Gilder and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 20th, 2023, at 1:00pm, at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, TX, with James Crowder Funeral Home officiating the service and taking charge of the arrangements.
