VIRGINIA RAE LEE

Virginia Rae Lee, 83, of Hemphill, Texas passed away Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Legacies Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hemphill.

Virginia was born March 14, 1940 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Thomas Rayford Hollifield and Evie Pearce Hollifield. A longtime resident of Bossier City, Louisiana, she had been a resident of Sabine County for the past 6 years.

She was a strong Christian lady who was friendly and outgoing, a real people person. She loved to play Bingo and watch movies and she was a loving wife and mother.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Ann Cassidy and husband, Jack, of Hemphill; sister, Ada Roddy of Bossier City, Louisiana; and granddaughter, Julie Cassidy of Hemphill.

Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home.
